l'Huis Perreau's offers an one week vineyard-holiday. During the week we
will make three excursions of a day each to developing
vineyards, each in a different area: Tannay, Vézelay and
Coulange la Vineuse (south-east of Auxerre). In each area we
will visit some vineyards and have wine-tastings. Karel
Musch, one of the owners of l’Huis Perreau, will accompany
the excursions and give explanations and translations. In
each area we will visit at least one vigneron who is
working organically.
On request of your company l'Huis Perreau can adapt the programma to weather or other other circumstances by swapping the daily activities (e.d. leisure on sunday and activity on monday).
A vineyard consist of o whole dat in a wine area.
The daily programme consists of a guided walk in the morning, visiting the vineyards and other points of interest such as the basilique in Vézelay. Lunch will be a pick nick in the fields, with wine from a local vineyard. In the afternoon there will be four or five wine tastings, usually in authentic caves. Each excursion day will be concluded with a four course meal, at l’Huis Perreau. Preferably al fresco, but it can also be given in the old wine cellar, dating from the 16th century. Participants will also be given aperitifs made at l’Huis Perreau according to traditional local recipe. After the meal, participants will be given a choice of our own local digestifs, including an eau de vie de mirabelles from our own garden.
